Jane was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. At the age of 13, she saw a production of the Queen musical, 'We Will Rock You' and fell into a wholehearted love for theatre. Since then, Jane's thirst for performance has seen her train extensively and garner much work to great acclaim, both on stage and screen. Her work can now widely be seen across film and television.
Throughout her high school years, Jane began auditioning for short films and commercials and consistently booking lead roles in projects all over the city. She attended NIDA (Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Arts) for three years part-time, and after graduating from school at the age of 17, moved to New York City.
Jane is a graduate from the two year conservatory training program at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in New York. She has recently performed off-Broadway in 'Sirens' with the Native Aliens Theatre Collective, and originated the roles of Irene in 'Dreams Deferred' by Black Rose Productions and Danielle in 'The Empty Hearted' at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre. You may also see her as Andrea in Lake Films' 'A Dance With Andrea' which was an official selection of the 2012 Garden State Film Festival. Jane was also chosen to perform on stage opposite James Franco in an excerpt of The Glass Menagerie, for his 'Three Performances in Search of Tennessee' Performa project.
Recently securing her Green Card, Jane is one of the few Australians able to work in the US without limitations. She recently signed on with Forex Capital Markets (FXCM) as their ongoing Foreign Exchange Market Reporter. Jane is very highly skilled and particularly equipped for a wide range of work, from comedy, to high stakes drama, to the business and commercial world.
Whenever Jane gets the chance, she loves to travel, indulging her love for Europe, Spanish culture and the dance/music of Flamenco, go for jogs along the Hudson River, watch others work in film or theatre, sing a little jazzy cabaret, and eat copious amounts of fresh pineapple.
